- Maintain good lighting: A well-lit home can be a deterrent to thieves. Since they like to work in the cover of darkness, you can prevent theft by using floodlights or motion-activated lights outside.
- Home security installation: Not only can you have sensors outside, but indoor sensors can be a great way to alert you if someone is trying to come in. Motion sensors can set off an alarm and deter people from unwanted entry. Also, don’t underestimate the power of visible security cameras.
